He spends his free time volunteering with senior dog and cat rescues, He also has a green thumb and enjoys gardening and landscaping. They are all rescues and are very loved by their Dad. Working at Broadway Animal Hospital with the great doctors, awesome support staff, and such caring clients makes coming to work every day so gratifying.
Alma Sanchez Veterinary Technician Assistant
Alma has been working for the Broadway Animal Hospital support staff for 4 years. She chose this career for a couple of reasons. One, her father, Ignacio Sanchez, was a DVM in Mexico where she grew up, and he influenced her decision to work in this field. Later, Alma found a light in her path to stay in the vet field and learned to love and care for furry companions. Alma had a companion friend, "Ruby", a long coated Chihuahua, who was adn will always be the joy of her life. Alma want to learn more about how to serve the veterinary community. She is very happy to be a member of the Broadway Animal Hospital team and will always thank Dr. Kasmersky for letting her be part of this beautiful family. In her spare time, Alma loves to spend time with her mother and sister, listen to music, and watch action films at the theater.
Customer Service Representatives
Caitlyn Lyght Customer Service Representative

She knows everyone wants the best for their pets and hopes to help accomplish that any way she can. In her free time, Reese spends time with friends and sings in a competitive a cappella group.
Patty Schloeman Customer Service Representative
Patty loves working with Broadway Animal Hospital because she can socialize with the adorable pets that come in every day! She especially loves dogs, but she also loves baby elephants (who unfortunately don’t come into Broadway). In her spare time, Patty enjoys watching television, cooking, and reading.
The vet and the staff are nice, attentive and very knowledgeable. We are so happy on how much attention they give such as doing follow up calls to check on my dog after getting his immunizations and how understanding they were because my dog felt very anxious. Definitely recommend this place and we’re so happy to find a vet near us that’s way better than the one that we used to go to.
I trust the care of my beloved 11-year-old pug to Dr. Perry. He is very knowledgeable and gentle. He is not only a doctor, but also a friend who listens. The front staff are always polite and considerate. I love this place! So glad I found it since I am new to Chicago
I've been taking my cat to Broadway Animal Hospital the past few years until recently when she passed away suddenly from a rapidly declining lung condition.
When Dr. Kas was informed of my cat's passing he called me personally to say he was sorry and really comforted me in my time of mourning... I really appreciate that quality of service. I have had nothing but great experiences when I took my kitty in for checkups. When I'm ready to adopt another furry life companion, I'll gladly take them there
Fantastic doctors and staff! Dr. Kaz and his entire staff were just wonderful with our little girl chihuahua mix. Would highly recommend to all!
Dr. Kas and his staff are wonderful. I've been going to BAH for almost 35 years and would never consider going elsewhere. When I visit, I know my companions have had the very best care (and the most up to date care) available. Thank goodness they are here for us!
Yesterday was Jackson's first visit. We found the clinic and its staff A1 -- we received a follow up call today to check how Jackson was doing post shots. He is well; chewing his favorite toy and all is well. We highly recommend this very impressive pet care center: 5 star service 5 star staff.
Great people with neighborhood feel. Always call to check up after appointments and have worked my dog in on very short notice on multiple occasions.
What an exceptionally friendly and well-run office! Everyone on staff was extremely helpful and outwardly happy to help. They treated my cat like she was their own and talked me through everything they were doing. If she needs anything else going forward, this is who I'll be taking her to.
I’ve visited 6 animal hospitals as I have moved several times around Chicago. This is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a vet in terms of care, pricing and friendliness. Now that my dog is 8 years old, I feel happy to say that we’ve found a team of vets that we trust.
The staff was wonderful! The vet was excellent! We were in and out very quickly but all my questions were answered ! Highly recommend!
I have been taking my cat there for about 8 years. They have been very helpful and even saved me money from unnecessary procedures when my cat was sick. They truly care for the well being of the animals. Prices are reasonable also. Friendly and knowledgeable stuff.
I brought my old dog, a thirteen-year-old Siberian husky, here when his body began to fail in his old age. Dr. Perry was so tender and caring with him, and they ensured me that nothing was seriously wrong with him other than the effects of age. He passed nearly a year later, and he did so quietly and peacefully, not racking up any vet bills to try and "bring him back." So glad to have BAH in my neighborhood! Thanks, guys!
